Open the OpenDash Setup located inside the Setup menu:
Click on the ‘Integrated Texting’ tab
Check this box to enable OpenDash’s texting features.
As stated in the notice in the window, this replaces all texting features inside of Open Dental if you are currently using Open Dental’s eServices.
After enabling, all text messages will send from the number listed above (It is the same number you selecting during activation of OpenDash).
If the patient has a photo, it will be displayed. Click here for help for how to set patient photos in Open Dental.
OpenDash follows the texting rules you set up in the patient’s information.
